Contre-jour

That morning, the park was lit up with a complete sun over a pure blue screen. (((I forgot the camera. I forgot the camera after telling myself last night that I would forget the camera if I did not put it in my bag. I forgot to put it in my bag.))) I wanted you to see it.

This time, camera ready, I got off the bus early to take pictures of today which still looks like yesterday. Before walking to work, I covered a triangular space, trying to catch the bridge in its morning glow. Sometimes you turn your eye to what calls you, sometimes, you turn your eye for no apparent reason but you call it good timing.

When I turned to my shadow, a man was smiling at me, blinded by the light. I returned his smile then returned to the sun. I took a few more photographs as he approached me, praising the sun and my eyes. His were flooded by beauty, alien to me.

He said "Find a place in a shadow. It’s a great way to capture this kind of lighting." I tried this, but it was impossible. At this time, the angle was wrong.

He said "I saw the park and had to stop driving to take a look. I know that you will probably tell me in a minute or two that you must leave and go on your way, but it's nice to take the time..." He spoke about photography projects. He then asked me, indirectly, if I could record him. Perhaps he wanted me to remember.

This is what he said:

"We are taking action, right now. It’s a miracle you and I met."
