White Heat

Open the door
Sit down
Drive me close
Tell me where
Your hands roam
I'm all ears
One eye
Tell me where
Your laugh lives
Ride this road
'Till fall
Our high fears
Step on it
Elevate
Pull the sword
My lantern
My lover
Becoming
Through the wound
Kiss the bell
Forehead chime
Cups full
Round night
Uncovered
Across you
Lay, Lady
Lady, Lay
Strength say
Why wait
Any longer
Open the door
Sit down
Take your place

Allô ! sacrement.

C’est long.
Un tunnel de fille.
Pense-y. Ça prend du temps.

Pense loin.

On one side
a pile of papers
On the other
a door

Behind the door
surprises

Through the papers
release

I am stuck
with a coin

Once

tails

Twice

tails

Thrice
tails

All signs
to the weight
to the word
to the imaginary
kaleidoscope
lullabies
communion

If I had
a proper hat
I would
go

To swell a progress

Saturday, March 31, 2007

Tonight, I went to a small coffee shop to meet some friends of mine. While they were ordering I wandered off to the bookcase and found this book. A child’s book, about Human Rights. The book made me happy for a second, as I imagined it read to a child. Then the image dimmed to [this one] and then all the similar ones that I have seen in the past.

Then I thought about that night I went out to that bar and was accosted by that group of strangers. The way they acted frightened and annoyed me. They acted on power fed off each other. Ouroboros. No matter if the idea was clear or not, if any was slightly suggested by one, it was lit up by the whole. Herd behavior. It makes me want to cry. Because the group that can devastate men of their freedom can also be the group that would lift a car to save the life under it.

They act as if this is all a game, when real games are too childish and war action makes them feel like heroes. Because being a great man must mean Fight, Possess, Empower, Correct…

I don’t know what else to say.
I am spent.

I am a coma gadget girl. (said sadly)

Wednesday, July 26, 2006

I first wanted to post this on someone else’s blog as a comment but thought, in the end, better not. Better not add my rant to a stranger’s home. Because that person might not want to hear about it and I don’t want to upset anyone. Assuming that nobody wants to be disturbed.

Today, talking about misfortunes, I spun jokes about how, when you lose your marbles, drop a puzzle box or your groceries, when everything falls down around you, often, you will take a second or two to watch it unfold until you realize "Well, I have to pick things up now." The people around you also take a second or two to observe, absorb and react to what just happened. Sometimes, they just stand there and watch you. But they do, I imagine, relate... They must think "Awe. I hate it when that happens!" And go on their way.

Some people might think "I could help!" So they move in and participate and the show then becomes interactive. They bend down next to you and maybe smile and help you put things back in their place. (Sometimes they find new places and it is the good kind.)

But there are many people, like me, who often think that people don’t want to interact. They don’t want to be bothered by someone they don’t watch movies with. So the world ends up being a stage. We watch, feel and sometimes flip the channel or get some chips. We walk around perceiving situations and believe (or abide) this scene cannot be altered or it is self-reliant. No wonder so many people feel alone and out of place.

I'd like you to know that if you ever see me lose my marbles, I will appreciate any help offered.

Thank you.
